Eurycotis lixa Update and Glowworm in Dark

Hi there everyone!
I wanted to share an update on my E.lixa. I recently had my first nymph molt to adulthood! It is huge! It completely dwarves my adult E.decipiens and is about 3/4 as large as my adult male G.portentosa( given he is a little small for his species.) Here's some pictures of it!

It is fairly close in size to the sub-adult nymphs but there is a differences in the look of the wing-pads, which is a clear indicator to me that it's an adult, and quite frankly, I can't imagine it getting larger than this! LOL

I also wanted to share some photos I took of my Phengodes sp. glowworm! Sorry about the quality of the photos, they were the best I could get without flash in a dark closet.

It basically glows green on these spots on it's sides and between the segments on the top of its body, you can look it up if you want to see some better photos of them glowing.
Hope you guys liked this post, and until next time, goodbye!
